Through a subtly revisited art deco style, the couple wanted to enhance the identity of the place while respecting the harmony of the blue and green colours, natural echoes of the lakeside landscape that surrounds it.
Every detail has been carefully considered to create a warm, refined, and authentic atmosphere. This same commitment to quality is reflected in the cuisine, which is local, fresh, and seasonal, celebrating regional produce with precision and creativity.
The villa thus becomes a timeless refuge, where the art of hospitality, the beauty of the setting and the pleasure of the senses are delicately combined.
THE LAKE VILLA
Since its opening in the early 1900s in Aiguebelette-le-Lac, the establishment, which was once called “The Lake Hotel”, has always welcomed visitors from neighbouring regions in search of rest and comfort. The renovation we have carried out has given this historic place its unique character. We offer travellers and tourists a relaxing stopover at La Villa du Lac.
More than just a hotel, Villa du Lac offers certified "furnished tourist accommodation" rooms with a style that is both modern and inspired by the early 20th century. Period furniture, sourced from collectors, gives each room a unique, refined, and elegant atmosphere.
Each room offers a decoration that is in perfect harmony with the history of this place, while providing modernity and today's comfort, and thus restoring La Villa du Lac to its former glory.

Villa du Lac is located on the shores of Aiguebelette-le-Lac. The main lake of the Savoyard Pre-Alps, Lake Aiguebelette is close to Chambéry and is surrounded by a preserved environment that will delight lovers of unspoiled nature.
Its triangular body of water adorned with two wild islets, its emerald green water, a symbol of tranquility, and its surrounding green mountains make this place magical and secret.
